Students experience school policies everyday, yet they often have little say in decisions that affect them. I think our school should introduce a Student Voice Committee that allows students to share ideas, concerns, and solutions directly with administrators. This change would be valuable because it encourages responsibility, communication, and mutual respect between students and staff.
A Student Voice Committee could be made up of elected representatives from each grade who meet monthly with school leaders. This would give students a structured way to discuss issues such as the school lunches, workload balance, or school events. Some may believe students can provide thoughtful and realistic ideas that benefit the entire school community.
