The high school’s blood drive is in just 6 days, on December 10th. The blood drive is organized by the high school’s National Honor Society and has had much success these past few years. But blood donation at school is not a new thing; this article from 1977 describes that year’s blood drive too, which means that the blood drive at ALHS has been going on for at least 50-some years! Many, many people must have been saved through students’ generous donations.
