This time of year is an exciting time for senior student athletes – it’s recruiting season. It’s a dream for most athletes to be signed to their favorite school or team, but only the select few are chosen.
This year at ALHS we have four seniors that have been recruited: Kailey Boettcher, Whitney Mullenbach, Logan Strom and Drew Teeter.
Boettcher is bringing her skills on the soccer field to Hamline, Minnesota State University Mankato wants Mullenbach for the girls’ golf team, Strom is headed to Luther for track and field, and Teeter is traveling south to Iowa for golf at DMACC.
These Tiger athletes deserve a huge round of applause for their dedication and hard work in their sport, so don’t forget to show your Tiger pride, congratulate them when you see them, and cheer them on even after they graduate in a few weeks.
And to those who are leaving – Remember, once a Tiger always a Tiger.
