Born a Crime” by comedian and “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah is an autobiographical account of Noah’s life growing up as a biracial child in Apartheid torn South Africa.
As the son of a Xhosa mother and Swiss-German father, Noah recalls his childhood and early life under the rigidly enforced system of Apartheid during the eighties and early nineties until it was voted out in 1994. With his brutally honest and raw narrative, Noah addresses the racism built into both the society and government of South Africa, which outlawed his very existence and made his birth a crime.
