On Feb. 3, students in the Albert Lea Area School district received access to a school email address.

According to an announcement released by the district’s Coordinator of Technology Integration, Kenneth Griswold, the aim of giving students access to email is to ” facilitate better communication between students and staff, and to enable students to receive and act upon notifications from Google Docs, Classroom, and Schoology.”

Student email use is enabled for internal communication between students and staff and is only available to students in grades 6-12.
