Entering high school is a new place or stage in your life where you learn new things, especially since it works as a doorway to adulthood. So what has senior Isaiah McGaffey learned throughout his years here in ALHS.
If you are a person who enjoys being involved in clubs and sports in school, you know how hard it can be while also trying to maintain good grades. For McGaffey, he found it helpful to plan out time to come into school early so he could get his school work done. In addition, he learned to not procrastinate his school work, as this would impact his overall grades.
“I try to create time where there’s no distractions around so I can be my most productive,” says McGaffey.
Last but not least, he discovered that he should be patient with his classes.
“I’ve noticed that you don’t always get the classes you want but being patient and staying to figure out how that class works,” advises McGaffey. “You realize how fun that class really is and you make the most out of that class.”

Here it is at night time and there’s something jetting up out of the ground. So it’s the same location, different dates, two different cameras picked up an anomaly in the same region.”](https://www.ahlahasa.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Ghost-Cover-1200x901.png)
