Albert Lea High School has welcomed new teachers and staff; one of these newcomers is counselor Claire Bradley.

Bradley comes from her hometown West Salem, Wisconsin, where she attended West Salem High School. During high school she was in band, choir, drama club, and participated in a musical.

Bradley got her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Winona State University as an undergraduate and then got her master’s degree in school counseling. From there, Bradley pursued her career in counseling.

“I have always enjoyed helping people,” she said. “I like helping students learn and finding something they are passionate about.”

While at ALHS, Bradley will be guiding, advising and consulting with students throughout their education.

“I am most excited to meet all of the students I get to work with this year,” she said.

Outside of counselling, Bradley enjoys going on runs, cooking and cleaning. She likes spending time with her family, which consists of her brother, sister-in-law, her 18-month-old nephew and a cat.
