Well seniors, we did it. It’s crazy to think that just five years ago I walked into the high school not knowing what to do with my life. Now as a senior I have a plan to attend Minnesota State University in Mankato to major in Elementary Education and minor in Spanish. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and I can’t think of a time I didn’t want to teach. That goal has carried with me throughout all of my years at school. I remember as a kid playing school with my cousin and knowing that I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. Now that I have grown up I am happy to be able to fulfill my childhood dream. I want to thank all of my teachers for the impact they have had on my life, I hope I can have an impact on my student’s lives like they have had on mine. I would also like to thank my friends and family for encouraging me to try something new and for making me a more confident person. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. With high school coming to an end I will miss all of my friends and teachers I have met along the way. I am sad to see it all end, but I am excited to see where this next chapter takes me.
![“This [photo] is basically the same area,” said science teacher Todd Mikkelsen. “So that [the cover photo] was my photo at dusk. Here it is at night time and there’s something jetting up out of the ground. So it’s the same location, different dates, two different cameras picked up an anomaly in the same region.”](https://www.ahlahasa.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Ghost-Cover-1200x901.png)
