Meet the Editor- Brenda De Rosas
Hello ALHS. So, we’re back…
I’m Brenda De Rosas I am a senior I am involved with many activities throughout the school year such as tennis, Mock Trial, orchestra, Key Club, Link Crew and National Honors Society. I will pursue a degree in nursing come next year, and attend a four year private institution.
As you can see I am coeditor of the Ahlahasa; this year marks my third year of being a journalist. I took the journalism course my sophomore year and through it I discovered my love for all publications. I was part of the first class of sophomores that were allowed to join Ahlahasa second semester. I loved seeing everything coming together piece by piece and the feeling of proud of myself for all my hard work.
I am thrilled to start this new year with an amazing staff and adviser. My coeditor and I were put in charge of nurturing this paper to make it grow. We are starting this year with a whole new and improved Ahlahasa that I am proud of and excited for. This year our goal is to put a complete spotlight on the student body as a whole. Therefore any questions, comments, or constructive criticism that you may have is more than welcome and appreciated. Although my future plans do not involve journalism I am completely dedicated to our improvement as a publication.
![“This [photo] is basically the same area,” said science teacher Todd Mikkelsen. “So that [the cover photo] was my photo at dusk. Here it is at night time and there’s something jetting up out of the ground. So it’s the same location, different dates, two different cameras picked up an anomaly in the same region.”](https://www.ahlahasa.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Ghost-Cover-1200x901.png)
